Check of depression of the engine

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    The discharge of the engine which is created in the soaking-up branch pipe is a good indicator of a condition of the engine. There is a following procedure of check of discharge: Warm the engine up to the normal working temperature.

After a warming up of the engine put the gear shifting lever on "Neutral" (for the And/T models put the gear shifting lever on the range "Р"), both install the parking brake and block driving wheels.


    At the switched-off engine disconnect a vacuum hose of the regulator of pressure of fuel from an inlet collector and connect a tee, hoses and the special tool (компрессиметр and the hinge) between an inlet collector and the disconnected vacuum hose.

    Start the engine with the specified idling speed, and consider indicators of a kompressimetr. Discharge has to be within the following technical characteristics. Technical characteristics of discharge (at sea level): 52.6 – 72.3 kPa (40 – 55 cm рт. St, 15.7 – 21.6 inch hg) at the specified idling speed. After check attach a vacuum hose to an inlet collector.
