Radiator

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Disconnect a negative cable (-) from the accumulator.
    Merge the cooling system, having turned off a drain stopper (1) of a radiator.
    At service of And/T vehicles place an oil pan under a radiator (1) and disconnect hoses for And/T liquid (2), (3) from a radiator.
    Turn off nuts cooling fans/couplings (1).
    Disconnect an inlet hose of a radiator from a radiator.
    Remove expansion bolts of the tank of P/S (1) liquid from a radiator rack.
    Remove safety clips of a casing of the fan. Then remove cooling fan/coupling and a casing of a radiator.
    Disconnect a water inlet and final hose (1), (2) and a hose of the tank (3) from a radiator.
    Remove a radiator (4).

Check

Check a radiator regarding a leakage or damage. Straighten the bent plates if those are.

Cleaning

Clean a forward part of a core of a radiator.

Installation

Repeat the procedure of dismantle upside-down, without forgetting as follows.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Fill the cooling system with the corresponding cooling liquid, having addressed Sections Cooling liquid and Washing and filling of the cooling system in this Chapter. Adjust a tension of a belt of the cooling fan according to technical requirements. Address the Section Regulation and check of a tension of a belt of the cooling fan in this Chapter. In And/T vehicles check And/T liquid level, having addressed the Section Liquid Level in the Head the Automatic transmission (4 A/T). After installation check each connection whether there is no leak.
